I have been teaching in the De Queen School District for the last twelve years. I graduated from Horatio High School. I attended Cossatot Community College and received an Associates of Art degree. I graduated from Texas A&M University at Texarkana in 2003 with a Bachelor’s of Interdisciplinary Studies and certification in Preschool to 4th Grade. I later received my certification for 4th - 8th grade Literacy/Social Studies and Math/Science. I earned my Master’s degree from Arkansas State University in 2012 in Educational Theory and Practice. I taught third grade and fifth/sixth grade math at Lockesburg Elementary.
I have been married to Johnny for the last 35 years. We have 2 children, John who is 26 and Dana (Dan ә not Dā na) who is 18. I live in Lockesburg. I love to do anything involving my family. Some of my favorite things to do is camping, fishing, hunting, and reading.
